imbibe Milwaukee #65

O'Lydia's
This Cream City brick gem has been in the business of selling beer since 1916. Or if you go back to the original building on the site, 1893. It started life as a Pabst saloon, briefly went to Miller or at least a Miller sign, and came back to the Pabst sign in 1972. Like so many others in the city, it spent Prohibition as an ice cream parlor in a neighborhood full of them (I wish that were still the case - I'd be up to #100 by now :D ) An addition and patio filled out the building in 1999.
