Something I never really did in the past. Something that just never really got me excited enough to actually do. Yes, I did some, but the drudgery and the cost of doing studio work on film just seemed excessive to me. Now with digital however, a simple set-up, a couple of lights, and you have something to give you hours and hours of fun experimentation. No wasted polaroids (although there's a lot to miss about Polaroid), and no waiting for film to come out of the lab too see if you were even close. And all it really took to get me going was realizing that I had a beautiful old Nikkor 55mm Macro with it's extension tube (for 1:1). What fun!
