Still Shakers

78 pictures in, and several re-shoots, and this is still the only place where anyone has questioned me. In a very un-Milwaukee fashion, a guy came running out, stopped (fortunately) on the sidewalk and yelled "WHAT ARE YOU TAKING PICTURES OF? ARE YOU TAKING PICTURES OF US?" And so on. When I said I was taking pictures of local watering holes for a project, he asked "What's a watering hole?". He then went on to demand to know if it was a federally funded project (I wish they still did that), several times... He couldn't wrap his head around the idea of a personal project.
To be fair to the bar, he was not the owner, nor do I believe he worked there. Just a patron who happened to look out the window as I was taking the picture.
